Overtime at Genki

I recently had the pleasure of working with Genki, a beloved Japanese restaurant in Sandy Springs, to bring some fresh Japanese-inspired art into their space. The new owner wanted a mural that would capture traditional elements, featuring a geisha seated in a koi pond surrounded by six koi fish—symbols of success and prosperity. We also added a beautiful cherry blossom tree and a sign with the restaurant's name to complete the look.

What made this project special was the overnight work, as the restaurant stayed open for business while we transformed the space. It was an exciting challenge, and the result is a mural that not only enhances the ambiance but connects deeply with the restaurant's cultural roots and values.
